Same here except I am loving this weather and hoping it lasts longer than it will, cus I still got no AC and no AC money... last summer was hell

 

yeah, I keep reminding myself to buy a fan on amazon but have yet to follow through. need to get my shit together or I'm gonna be super pissed in June. have you looked for a used window unit? those are pretty cheap and at least you can just sit by that window.

Yeah I will prob end up getting a window unit or something this year. I have one of those standing units you can roll around and it connects to the window with a vent, but its years old and doesn't work very well any more. Problem is this house is old, basically no insulation so these units have to run non-stop to have any effect and even then its not great

 

After 3 days on and off working on it, 2 trips to the hardware store, and more money put into this thing than if I'd just bought something normal... I now have a 6 foot floating desk of beauty! My ex promised me this thing a year ago but shoutout to the random guy on youtube who showed me even I can mount an ikea tabletop with industrial pipes it's finally finished.



now for that money monday.. but logging into prolfiic to see one lonely terrible study isn't looking too hot today.

 

you should have bought one from a pawn shop during the winter. that's how we got a super cheap lawnmower a couple of years ago. at least coming from a pawn shop you know they've had someone check it out. before buying it.

 

I was thinking I should buy one in the off season, but things have been ridiculous lately as far as unexpected large expenses popping up every single month

I'm also not sure I trust the pawn shops around here and a used window unit kinda weirds me out due to potential mold build up & the fact they don't age well

I have a lot of hvac friends so even cleaning my furnace is super cheap if not free.

 

Furnace needs to prob be replaced at this point also, its struggling

Everything in this house is outdated and it all needs to be repair/replaced/updated... my finances went to total hell right after moving in, total nightmare
