I will NEVER order via delivery apps. I see all the fees associated, tip excluded, and I'm like, y'all just made of money, huh? The ones that really kill me, though, are when people order a coffee from Starbucks or something. A drink. One drink. Just go to Starbucks, homie. I'm not paying more to get the food than the food itself. It's madness.

I mean I can barely justify even just ordering a few things from a fast food place in the drive thru any more. Its like 20 bucks for a small taco bell order now

 

And when I use Grub Hub, I've ordered from Burger King in the past and the meal totalled $13 when I went to BK and it totalled $15 on the app before all of the extra costs. So right off the bat, they've hiked up the price of the food before the service charge, tip, tax, etc.

 

Dude. I used to regularly do this $5.99 app-only combo special. I tried to order it a couple days ago and I hit the breaks when I saw they're now trying to charge nearly $10. Peace out, fools. Remember when Taco Bell used to fill you up for, like, two bucks just a few years ago?

 

yeah I always use the apps now bc they tend to have the cheapest deals. Pretty much always McDs these days cus they regularly have 1 or 2 decent deals in the app + EZ rewards for free food. But still, its getting stupid

Pretty standard practice to hike the price up for online ordering in general, aside from specific apps for chains
