    Having worked at Wendy's for 2 years I have intimate knowledge on how their chili is prepared. Plenty of people I've told this to think it's really gross, but I honestly don't have a problem with it at all. I still get it sometimes, it's yummy. That being said,

    So, all of the hamburger patties that are on the grill for too long get thrown into a hot holding area above the grill. At the end of the night, all of that meat is collected and thrown into a metal strainer and gets rinsed with water for 10-15 mins (put it in an empty sink, lock the sprayer with the ring and leave it over the strainer, come back later). It then gets chopped up, bagged and frozen. Morning crew comes and throws the meat into a giant pot along with water, dried beans, chili mix and simmers for 4 hours. Bam, chili.

    Guys, the spacebar on the secondary keyboard I'm using as a replacement for my built-in keyboard (which had an unfortunate coffee encounter) is giving out (because of an unfortunate coffee syrup incident) so I have to punch it typewriter style.

    That's pretty ingenious. I used to work in a McDonald's and we'd craft the shit out of things.

    That's the one thing about working in a fast food restaurant – you never go hungry.

    I haven't been hitting the pennies as hard as I used to but I'll go ham when A9s pop up or something similar. Ibotta blocked me last year. A couple other pennies I always liked haven't posted lately.
