I have a part 2 of a 2 part study on Prolific that has been teasing me for like 5 days now but it's an hour of stupid "press this key" BS for $15 and I really don't want to do it but I won't get paid for part 1 until I do it T_____T

This study examines how people rate various statements in various colors and/or locations on the screen. The experiment will last 25 minutes and participants will receive $7.25 per hour of their participation. If participants complete more or less than an hour, participants will receive compensation relative to the number of 5 minute intervals completed (e.g., half an hour of participation will correspond to $3.63 of compensation).

I've had that happen with two different Prolific studies a few months ago. Usually, I just skim for the info about pay, bonuses, and how long will it take, etc.... Now I either look for those type of checks on the consent form, or just screen shot the form, and delete it after I finish the study.

 

I've seen those in my queue for a few days now, but I either haven't had the time to do them or felt like doing them for that rate of pay. lol
