i would like to say im shocked....but im really not.
though i find it funny that we jump hoops for reqs with "bot checks" and "attention checks"
....and then they just up and fabricate data...

 

"complete a short survey after reading two book chapters (~2 hr, to be spread across time depending on when you read the chapter)" for $10 back on 5/14/18 might be the one you're thinking of.

 

I did that task in the most ethical, unethical, way possible. I did in, in fact, read the chapters and write a review, but I found a pirated copy of the book so I could keep the gift card.

 

I've had a couple of tasks rejected back in the day with the claim that I was giving junk data (one of which I fought all the to the IRB), when I believe they just didn't like the answers I was giving because it didn't back their hypothesis.
