Honestly, since its summer and then I'll be doing it at nap time again once school starts, I've been shooting for $10/day. Some days are definitely easier than others! I miss a lot of HITs because I am not consistently on my computer.

 

Yeah you can make $10 a day. It's the summer slowdown right now. I'm just used to making like $30 a day.

Just means you're pinging the server too many times, happens if you're running QBC or Forker and either working on a batch or just quick returning things.

 

Hello turkers, all of a sudden i don't get survey hits from mturk anymore. This started yesterday. What can possibly be the cause? Help please!!

Since PayPal is down on Connect, I was going to use the bank transfer. Does anyone know if they charge you any fees when you use that option?

Nope, not running a thing. I just went from my dashboard to the hits page and I got that.
This is getting ridiculous, it's not like it's even busy.

is anyone else missing a bonus from bfm_res that is overdue? and mine are wrong, they should be higher. I got paid 1 bonus, 1 from 2 days ago not paid yet, yesterday and today not paid yet either but the instructions say wait 48 hours for your bonus.

I was reading on Mturk Reddit that requesters are not required to pay you any bonus and a lot of times, they don't even though they said you earned one. I've never kept track of bonuses, so I never notice. Either that or they wait until their research is over to pay you the bonus (which is several months later). But a lot of people said they aren't getting paid their bonuses that they were told that they said they were going to get.

I hardly ever work for bonuses because I haven't been paid so many of them over the years. I made an exception for this requester. even the incorrect bonuses the hits said I'm owed are about $30 total. the correct bonuses are highter.

 

@I Got Cookies Thank you for telling me anyway. at least people are onto the requesters not paying bonuses more than in the past. I really need that money for something I'm saving for and I trusted that requester (still do for now) so I will probably keep emailing them.
