today looks like it has been so great on here! I was here for 3 hours yesterday and only made like $7 lol. I wish I had more time to turk today!!! I'm happy for you guys though!

Anyone else work on the Alexandria qual batch yesterday "Verify the solutions to a problem"? They have no rejections over the years of them being a requester and now I got 4 rejections in a batch of 30 with the rest still pending. Hopefully its an error.

I did 22 yesterday, none have rejected so far. I did notice in the instruction that they seemed more picky and that they would be checking the answers and rejecting so I got scared away a bit. They've never done rejections before so I thought that was weird.

 

Yeah it's weird, it needed a qual that I passed anyways, so I assume I was doing them correctly. I even did the bonus in some of them to offer a better solution. I've been doing work for them for years and never got a rejection until now.

 

Yeah they took away my qual that was to write out these solutions that we were judging, so I think they are being extra picky. Sucks.Hopefully they reverse them for you.

My bet is on their auto-detection not being that great. You should try contacting them about it, since they are trying to catch spammers, not legit workers. They do respond I think.

I didn't get rejections, but I got a disqual. I messaged and they said they're using an automatic tool to gauge worker agreement. They removed the disqual and said they'd verify my work manually.
You'd think all of the writing involved with the HITs would negate the need for an automated tool and worker agreement, but alas.
ETA: Worker agreement (especially with these kind of subjective scenarios) is almost as terrifying as automated grading.

 

Here's one to avoid on Prolific. It looks like they telling everyone to return the survey at the end for one reason or another based on the Reddit posts. They falsely claimed that I missed an AC when I didn't, and others have stated that they had the same experience with this study.
