Good morning other, lovely people! Slept in while the fiance is out of town and woke up to my two sweet kitties sharing the bed with me. What was the third, a-hole cat doing you might wonder? Shoving things off the nightstand and clearly trying to murder me. Happy Friday!

 

That'd be like the ultimate mturk troll. From an official sounding requester name, setup a batch named something like "Qualification test for Masters" and then set a required qual of "Masters has been granted". People would freak.

 

As flippant as I am when I'm posting, anyone who is remotely interested in becoming a more efficient turker, or increasing their knowledge, should watch the video. I get we'll never have the people here who feel entitled to spoonfeeding to, but for the rest of you, especially who do the Rekognition hits and what not, this literally explains exactly what they're trying to do, what they want, etc.

I had to google SRS, but yea that's the one. You could probably get your surgery sponsored by The Sierra Club. All of those paper bags you have to keep next to the bed have probably brought down an entire forest by now.

 

I get what you're saying, but as a worker its information that as a worker I always knew but could never put into words I guess I would say. What this video mainly does for me is give me reason to be a requester. I've been thinking lately about requesting but I could never really figure out how to make it worthwhile and this gives me a foundation for a more effective plan.

I took a class on Advertising Research in college and lately I've been thinking how easy it would be to write surveys and do research for these companies I'm constantly taking surveys for (plus I'd get a way bigger cut, people pay advertising researchers big dollars). Let us know how things pan out for you! It would be interesting to get into that side of the work.

You have not met my two boy cats! One I rescued from the cold at less than 2 months old when he was feral and the other was born in my bathroom , they are like tiny cat resembling dogs and that is the only reason I own cats. Fiance's cat though...the minute I sent her off to live with him (before we cohabited) she turned into a spoiled, fat, Grinch of a cat who recently tried to scratch me in my sleep but got her paw stuck in my hair instead cause she has terrible aim. Friggen cats!

I despise cats. They are fur shedding, evil satan spawn. I have a cat. I don't "Hate" it per se but we mutually agree to stay the hell away from each other. Dogs on the other hand are sent from heaven and everyone should have many of them lol.
