Solve this puzzle to protect your account

That's what I got when I logged in mTurk today. It was just a captcha. Has anyone else seen that yet? Like WTH. I was using the same computer I always use and I'm pretty sure my IP address hasn't changed in months.

I don't know if mine said to protect my account but i am about 99% sure this happened when i logged in yesterday. Did you use a different browser to login? IDK if that would matter, just curious lol

 

Captchas are a really standard and common way to protect or verify activity on accounts, it's not indicative of anything being wrong. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not worried, just annoyed. I already get enough of those other captchas that say the site is busy or something like that.

 

When I googled it, I found nothing about receiving it on mTurk, and only like 3 results in total citing other Amazon services. One was a video showing how the puzzle (not captcha) was messed up and unsolvable.

 

I get it sometimes on the Amazon Flex app. Sucks when it pops as I am actively trying to accept a block, which is hard enough as it is without a CAPTCHA. Just Amazon being Amazon.

 

Is advanced research master (vacation rental API HITs) basically impossible to get like masters qual?
