We are VacationRentalAPI. We have been a Requester on MTurk for several years, posting batches every weekday to a small group of Mturk workers that have obtained our closed qualification.

Our HITS consist of identifying the location of short-term rentals, and our payment scale ranges from $2 to $7.50 per identification.

Due to our growth, we currently have a need for additional workers and would like to extend a qualification test to anyone* that may be interested.

Identifying short-term rentals can be complex and comes with a learning curve. For that reason, we will be conducting qualification tests via email, so that we can provide instructions and feedback along the way.

*Aside from our closed qualification, workers must also meet the following qualification: “Location is one of: AS, CA, PR, UM, US.” Also, if you had our qualification in the past and it was revoked, you MAY be eligible to qualify again at our discretion, depending on the reason it was revoked.

 

Had a rejection for no reason I can see. I'm trying to use the Dispute Rejection option in MTS, but it just sits there and doesn't submit. Is this just me, a new thing, a known problem...?

Edited to add: Okay, found another way to get it to work. Had been trying from the Tracker page, which didn't work. Went back to the Dashboard/Activity Tracker and tried it there - worked fine.

And dozens of VRAPI qualified suddenly cried out in terror

 

I think I had the qual for these but never did them because they sounded tedious. I could be totally wrong. Have you done them or have any general feedback you could share?

I looked at the qual hit a few years ago and they looked complicated. I don't do complicated. I did see a bunch of people posting high earnings though from them a few years back. They may be worth it if you struggle to find decent hits to work on.
