I just checked my email and nothing. Good. I stay far away from Cloud Research, but had to check in case they snuck something in from Prolific.

 

What's Up Doc?
Well, I need more than a doctor, if something doesn't change soon then I have to rethink my strategies in between the hours of the day. MTurk has sucked the last 2-3 days, I'm signed up to both Data Annotation and Prolific and never heard from them, I'm signed up to cloud connect and it seems a lot of stuff is there now.
All the batch work has gone for me, the surveys on Mturk are too sporadic to pay anything worthwhile and the only thing I have left is Pickfu and Sellametrics stuff. I was hoping something good would come from Userbob but once I got beyond the 1m (0.45c) payout hits the other stuff is too sporadic. It's a shame because
A) I really like checking in here from time to time and
B) I actually like the Mturk platform and style of working.

I posted some question last week about shopping receipts and was told it's not worth it and stay away and to be honest as desperate as things are I'm still not going to do it, but there really isn't anything else. Yesterday was $5.76 and today I haven't even gotten to $5, I actually feel like the higher I get in completed HITs the worse it's getting but it's probably more to do with timing and the fact that MTurk is dead.

Time to start looking at agency work I guess.

 

yes but I never turned that option on. because if I lose the other device, or other email gets hacked or whatever, then I can't log in to 2 things instead of 1. but I guess I have to turn it on now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Try out if you can User Testing and DSCOUT. It`s not steady work, but the 2 together you could clear $500 a month. I hear ya about mTurk. I barely clear $5 a day on there now.

Yup. Hitting these milestones does not automatically open a flood gate of work unfortunately. There has to be available HITs to work on and there just are not that many anymore.
