I wouldn't expect anything better than that for a penny tbh. He should make a qual test and raise the pay imo.

But that's besides the point. I would expect quality work no matter the amount. If a worker accepts and submits work, they should do it correctly.

 

Well if you are getting bad work dropping the pay isn't going to help. The few good workers you have likely will nope out.

 

We have just spent the last 2 hours doing exactly this.

I don't know what this kid does to crayons, but I am having a hard time coming up with an explanation that doesn't include the words "crayon genocide." They probably secretly refer to him as the Butcher of Crayola.

 

I scrolled through 10-15 or so and it looked like 2-3 out of 4 images were usually pretty good, especially when considering the pay & the fact his drawing tool is incredibly annoying compared to the A9 bounding box. I don't think I've seen a single one where there wasn't a very well drawn bounding box. Most of them are like this, 2 "OK" quality, 1 very good, 1 just auto-submitted.



You also have no clue if one (or more) of the images isn't computer generated.. that is the whole point. It could very well just be testing human bounding boxes vs their ML.

 

I didn't have many toys but I had a lot of computer stuff... a few cameras.. lots of cables and adapters..

No one else is getting "Please select one of these options" for every radio button of the best bounding box Geohives, are they? I'm just not doing the HITs until they get looked at

 

I've got cousins who have toys from 3 Christmas's ago they've never played with. If they're still usable(doubtful considering most kids) please consider donating them.

 

Yes they are broken. I think that they are a lot of work for a penny as well but they are a broken so that point is moot.

 

My son is like this too. Good to know it's not just us.

 

And if you accept bad work at good pay, you'll keep getting bad work. Obviously a handpicked qual is the answer but that's even more work on their end which is cost for them too. I hope it's just what Chris said -

I thought of that - it could be the original box given, or it could be someone spamming submit with the original box given. Given what we know about some workers, I lean cynical. But on the day of NBadger's positivity recognition, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.
