does anyone remember the website that had the graphs that showed number of hits posted on mturk? so we can check a timeline.

no it was a 3rd party website someone set up years ago. it might have had something to do with TO and those demographic hits that sometimes post.

 

The thing I use to scrape hits is still showing activity but it's not actually picking up anything and my 'all hits' section on Mturk itself is only things that are locked, so it feels like no new hits are being added at the moment.

 

found it. but the webpage that leads to it says it stopped working in 2016.

edit: no wait these graphs are the demographics of the workers. there was a different graph that showed number of hits posted and when.

 

I can tell from that link I posted, new HITs are still going up now.

the graph I'm thinking of is kind of like those but it's interactive and goes by the hour or day. I can't find it though.

has anyone tried turning off all their installed extensions and scripts and then trying to accept a hit? if some people are able to do hits, there must be a reason.

 

I don't think anyone said they could still do HITs, @Jane Doe just said new HITs are going up, not that they are being accepted or anything.

What is the best goal to set for daily hits?? I set mine to 4 and I am proud of myself if I can hit those daily... delighted when I can go over that. I joined 3-4 months ago and found HITs to be down in June or July so I skipped a week or so... I am enjoying it so far, but hope issue is remedied soon. It's nice to be able to make something extra while being able to homeschool our boys.

 

number of hits in this batch has in general been going up for hours. but it keeps jumping up and down, like some people are able to submit them.

and the number of hit groups total on mturk keeps going up and down. the batch I had been working on has not been building up hits. I suspect some people are able to turk, or some requesters can't post hits, or both.

maybe it's based on location? idk how servers work.

 

@leafs4_cup can you accept hits now? you're in canada right? I'm in the US.
