why are hits going up on mturk then disappearing? as if some people can do them. I've seen surveys and at least 1 batch do this.

PS it's still totally broken for me. I've just been seeing this since yesterday while it's been broken.

Could the hits going up and disappearing mean that they're not working and then being deleted and retrying? Could be some sort of bot that is being deployed to send out hits? I don't know how any of this works. Just know I've not heard anyone say they can use Mturk.

Unless there's a group of people that can who are just doing business as usual and so don't care to come on sites like this.

 

this requester in particular last night, haven't been watching this morning. so that 1 hit is always up for people who haven't done it yet (if they have whatever quals to do it). but there is a 2nd hit from same requester. appears, disappears. a few hours later same 2nd hit appears, disappears. and repeat 1/2 hour later. like I'm seeing it expire out of someone's queue, or be returned by someone else, or be reposted by requester, stuff like that.

holy hell, they actually posted about it being down? im 1000% shocked, they must have been brow beaten by everyone telling them its down and broken

its probably they are posting, seeing nothing is being taken, then removing and reposting thinking its a problem on the requester side.

 

Do you guys know if anybody outside of the US is also affected?

 

I am also curious about this because it seems like everyone complaining on all the websites speaks good english and with american spellings phrasing etc.

everyone is affected it seems (and as i post i see the two BR posters saying they have issues)

 

On the plus side, I'm looking forward to the massive bonus they will for sure send us for the inconvenience.
