This feels like a scam, and I don't trust them. They say they offer up bonuses, but it looks more like they abuse the adsense revenue from workers in order to earn money while they pass off pennies to the workers.

Connect waitlisted me because I wouldn't give them a selfie and my driver's license... I guess they have so many people willing to give them their drivers license that if you don't give yours over they just chuck you to the side. I understand when it's necessary to give that kind of ID like if you are using a stock exchange or you need to put a freeze on your credit but not for a platform that is for studies or surveys.

Hey Yeti, totally understandable to be caution. I've been a victim of ID theft from my own mother, on top of various data breaches over the years. <_< I was hesitant also about giving my info to Connect, but after doing more research (mostly reading feedback about them on Reddit) I decided to risk it. They appear to be a very legitimate company from what I can tell, and explain they use legal IDs to combat fraud on their platform. I've been very happy with Connect - been with them since Dec 2023- but everyone has to make the choice that's right for them.

PS: I also use credit monitoring/ fraud prevention services, and for years had a freeze on my credit reports. So there are things you can do minimize ID theft if you do decide to go ahead with Connect.

I don't want to do connect. the only reason I might in the future is because @malysa and some other people here do it. but not unless I HAVE TO to get by.
