I didn't know where to to put this so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place. I recently did a few HITs for a requester called Shopping Receipts and some where rejected while others were approved. For the last several days I've been in emails with them trying to get them to explain why they were rejected and since I kept copies of the images I've included links of the ones in question. All I've been getting in response is a bunch of run around and blowing smoke up my (you know what). But I digress. I'll leave it up to you to just look at their HIT and read their instructions. This way I'm not influencing you in anyway. Here are a few of the images I saved which are grouped. I'm hoping some of you folks can tell which one was rejected vs approved and maybe why the rejected ones are a valid rejection. All of these I marked as not workable or poor quality. Group 1: Group 2: Group 3: Group 4: There's a few I wish I had kept because they were approved and would have helped with the experiment. Before some of you tell me how much they don't like requester Shopping Receipts. Trust me, after this I get it. They have already blocked me from doing their HITs, and I've blocked them with the MTurk Suite browser extension. Side note they almost rejected one I marked as unworkable because it was an image of a can of cola. I fought that and won. To the mods/admins here: If I did something wrong, then please explain what it was so I can learn from it.
You’ve already answered your own question. There’s really nothing more to learn here other than the fact that some requesters can’t be reasoned with. Asking us to guess why they rejected your transcription work feels futile. Rejections suck, but I wouldn’t spend any more time on this.
I'm slightly confused. I am confused because you're showing us pictures of the receipts but none of the transcription work. So how are we supposed to be able to tell you where the mistake is? I mean that very nicely. I don't mean to come off wrong at all. I'm just saying I don't understand.
