10/16- Where's the Beef Wednesday

If anyone is wondering, I woke up to the smells of green beans and homemade mashed potatoes. Drinking my morning coffee, roommate said he was making dinner for his girlfriend tonight and that we'd be having meatloaf. He has to work in a couple of hours but asked me to put the meatloaf in the oven later today. We didn't have any hamburger and I told him that so now he is at Kroger before going to work to pick up beef...

 

Has anyone had problems with getting paid by Amazon this week? I was supposed to be paid Yesterday since Monday was a holiday, it was sent Sunday but I haven't been paid yet.

Yeah, my transfer emails came on Sunday, which is normal, there was a holiday Monday (Columbus Day) and it should have hit my bank Yesterday. I have had these issues in the past. I may have to initiate a transfer from somewhere else. The last time this happened, it went through after another app transferred money to my account. Grrr, I needed that money today.

EDIT: I tried transferring money to my account and Amazon's didn't go through yet. I can't really say anything as it say 3-5 business days... But still...

 

what bank do you have? I don't want to get an account there if they are having issues like that.

 

I use Venmo. I rarely ever had a problem with payments. This time is highly unusual. I use Venmo because I generally get paid immediately. The last time it was about a day late. This has to do with Amazon rather than the account.

Yeah it's kinda wild how different the online side hustle game is compared to when I first started like 10 years ago.

 

I make twice as much a week on Prolific as I used to on Mturk. I've been on there five years though and have a bunch of quals/batches built up.
