Not sure how much work I'm going to get done today. Found out last night that my grandmother that raised me is on hospice and may only have a day or two to live... My first 60 minutes task took me an hour and a half because I had to take a break every time that my glasses started fogging up. I'm trying but see my self day drinking in a few hours... my uncle is going to pick me up later tonight so that I can visit her but honestly it feels like a year away.

Bad start to my day playing that game hit from Samuel Gershman on Mturk. Hitting number keys is unnatural for me and I somehow managed to refresh the HIT after 20m of playing it. Returned it to avoid rejection. Bye $6-8 which is as much as I get in a usual day on Mturk as a whole.

my grandma that I was pretty close to died during Covid(although not due to Covid specifically more due to general complications of being 96 years old) and I didn't really see her at all for that last year and still feel kinda upset about that to this day

conversely my dad who died a decade or so ago it was basically the opposite, I spent the night before he died when he was in a coma watching his favorite movie(Tombstone) next to him and doing that and the way he grabbed my hand a little afterwards is still something of a positive memory to this day

 

Thanks guys! Yeah, my grandfather died in the first May of the pandemic, not of covid, but from falling in the bathroom and my ignorant redneck uncle just put him back in bed like it was nothing. He was in a coma for two weeks. It sucked because you still couldn't go to hospitals then. I remember calling the nurses on each shift and telling them what to put the tv on because I felt like he might be able to hear it. He came home for hospice a couple of days before dying and I was able to sit with him for a half hour and hold his hand. His nurse told me that she could tell that he heard me. It made me feel good. This just sucks this time because my uncle is trying to keep everyone out of the loop. That's why I have to get my aunt's ex-husband (favorite uncle) to take me over there tonight. My uncle isn't dumb enough to try to stand up to him. It's gonna be a horribly long day. I was only able to sleep last night by eating my last mushroom that I was saving. Today I need to try to eat actual food because my hands are super numb.

I've made $40 today but my prolific is still full of decent tasks that I really should do. debating
