Yeah, I bought one from ebay to use Logic. It still isn't worth it imo. If they ever start bringing down the price and other stuff, I might be interested. I've thought about getting a mini just for the sake of having both OSs.

 

You can install OSX in a virtual machine if you REALLY need OSX. And with AMD's threadripper you could pass through a GPU and it will feel like a native machine.

 

i have a 2009 lol a bit outdated i was going to buy a windows laptop from offerup last week but the guy flaked

 

possibly no focus today I actually have work up on my second monitor but am playing with pictures on my main screen instead.

 

Today is NOT going well for me.

 

I was on windows from win95-win7 and now when I touch a computer with 10 I turn into a 90 year old who doesn't know how to operate a computer.



I mean okay that's exaggerated because I do have a passive win10 laptop at home that I remote to for random stuff, buuuut I still don't like it.

 

They have VMs for it? I thought it was limited by the specific hardware. And I have Nvidia

Same boat. I just installed a theme pack, that turned windows 8-10 to the windows 7 theme, so I could navigate like normal.

 

Yeah, they kind of forced that more user friendly junk on us. I just found ways to get around that stuff.

Windows 10 works exactly like every other windows OS. You don't need to use the metro bullshit. Even in windows 8 you could remove that... but yeah I'm slowly moving back to linux with other OSes in VMs lol

Lol you can visualize everything. I have a VM of OSX on my desktop right now and it works fine.
