You see I think that my issue is I'm a nerd who stays inside too much.. I haven't actually ever dated anyone.

As I currently am I don't actively look for girls to date because I want a proper job before I do.

 

Ahhh.... I see. I can't honestly advise you to get out more as I am a raging hermit myself.

However, keep up that cooking habit... hot as hell to the ladies.

So can my husband. He once baked me a birthday cake. That's about as far as he takes his cooking. He thinks its a waste of time and energy.

 

And no I am not cooking turds. One of my dishes that I have gotten pretty good at cooking at any location is seared and then baked chicken.

First I get some pappy's seasoning (stuff is sooo good) then dry rub it on the raw chicken and throw it on my all clad stainless steel pan to sear. Flipping it to make sure both sides get seared.

I then take the whole pan and throw that into the oven (if you don't use a stainless steel you could just trasnfer it but this way is less dishes0 @450f for ~20min and it should be ready but I check the temp with a meat probe.

Sides can be whatever but my brother at the very least is spoiled by that chicken because I make it a lot lol.

I also started to try and make some curry from scratch but I haven't mastered that yet.

Now if only there was a way for us hermits to meet up.

 

i don't think it's a waste i'm just lazy. i eat a lot of frozen pizza too lol

 

I once made pudding from scratch on a whim at 4 am because I wanted pudding.

My brother woke up and was like wtf it was basically this IRL

 

I cook constantly because I have ADD or some crap and like to do shit. Cooking is an essential skill that everyone should have. The actual trick to cooking is just not being a picky eater. If you eat anything, everything tastes good. But seriously cooking is easy. Fuck recipes. Just throw shit in a pan and stir it around until it's not bloody, and then add some seasoning and eat it. Voila! dinner.

 

I love those kind of hits. Wish we could do more.

 

This makes me laugh, because it is so me! I've been known to be awake at 3 a.m. and bake cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, bread, etc. just because it sounds good. And I'm told I'm crazy.....all the more reason to be a hermit!

 

I cook every day, and I'm single.

Cooking can't fix ugly.

I've learned that I need to keep some of that stuff in the freezer, either ready to bake or just ready to thaw and eat. It keeps me from too many insomniac nights So, whenever I bake, it's always a double or triple batch and sometimes some of it makes it to the freezer.

 

Chicken Quarters, season-all of some sort, oregano, 3 lemons, baking potatoes. peel, cut lengthwise potatoes, layer on bottom of pyrex sprinkle with season-all, oregano, put chicken quarters on top of potatoes, pour lemon juice over chicken, season-all chicken, sprinkle with oregano, cover with foil, bake @ 400 - 60 mins, uncover - bake for 25 mins.

holy yummy cow.

 

my ancestors didn't evolve this far for me to slave away in a kitchen. jk i should probably learn how to cook. it's probably cheaper and obviously much healthier than eating frozen junk.
