Absolutely and especially for you old friend.... How are you?

 

I mean, I didn't name my cat Abbey for no reason. I know someone who lives in Belgium and brought a whole suitcase worth of incredible Belgian beers last time he came stateside. I could have bathed in them and died a happy lady.

When I said I'm usually not into fruit beers, I meant along the lines of all the trendy IPA + fruit beers popping up. Sculpin absolutely gets it right, but there are very few who do. I'd rather the fruit flavors come from the hops, or actually brewed to be part of the beer instead of just beer + fruit juice like so many of the "hurry up and get this trendy beer on the shelf STAT" breweries do.

Its drama when the language you select exceeds the level of tone everyone else is at with their annoyance meters lol.

I agree with you at the base level, RA probably isn't going to learn without some direction on conversational etiquette. There are absolutely times when his suggestions/advice are far too pushy, lack a bit of a human element, & most of his advice comes from his personal experience pool so it isn't tailored to the person he's giving it to. But none of those things, while faults, are evil spirited in nature.

I've never, not once, read a post from RA and been like "wow, what a hateful person." Last week I may have called him a dick once or twice probably (and I think folks covered that IIRC). Admittedly I miss posts here and there, so maybe it happens and that's where your rage meter fills up, but I suspect he's just a tad clever at pushing some buttons more than he is a raging pile of angst.

Clearly you hate that I give him a long rope because he's a young dog learning new tricks. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I give you pretty much the same respect as an old dog I imagine isn't interested in learning new tricks himself lol. Riiight up until this line, pretty much, lol. I'm not making you hold RA's hand, sing jambalaya, & give him life lessons.. but you could have easily said all this and had an actual impact on the guy & this place as opposed to this.. which most reasonable folks are going to tell you was like a smidge too much. Lmao.

TL;DR: No one is arguing with your core message. But your delivery sucks dick, brosef.
