06/24 - Surviving Saturday!

Lets check up on what I missed while watching anime and doctor who

 

Well, I understand the point of this brief list is to offer helpful advice, which I appreciate, but maybe to make my stance a little more clear, I'll just describe my views on these items.

Music: I am a proficient musician, but I very much dislike music and I wouldn't willingly listen to it or perform it.

Flying: If man were meant to fly he would have been born with a pilot's license.

Modeling: Either A) posing for photographs, a form of vanity I find unacceptable, or B) making scale replicas which I do, as there are some kids at the hospice I volunteer at who like different sorts of models, but I hate building them because they take hundreds of hours a piece to remove from the runner, sand, buff, prime, paint, line, topcoat, buff, and weather. I wouldn't willingly do this for myself.

Hiking: I already get an adequate amount of less risky exercise.

Languages: I am fluent in enough languages already

Cooking: I am already a proficient cook, but since I already know from what set of recipes I'll be preparing my meals every day for the rest of my life, there really isn't an incentive to expand my skill in this area.
