I just caught this so definitely PANDA it.

 

I need "too good to be true." My spouse accidentally didn't return a rental textbook, so we're out an extra $50 because we've now "purchased" the book we're never going to use again (and that now has a new edition, of course).

 

Try selling it on ebay or something. Might not get the $50 back, but broke college kids are always looking for cheaper options, even if it's 1 edition older.

 

I (and most of the instructors) always allow the older editions even the university tells us not to. Shhhh, you did not hear it from me. But, nope, I am not gonna let the students to pay extra $100 just because you changed the color of the cover of the book.

Yeah, I looked but it has to be in perfect condition. This book already was in very-used condition and my wife highlighted in it because the rental store allowed it.

Not sure if youre active on facebook or not, but usually theres textbook selling pages for specific colleges. I found using those better than selling them elsewhere.

 

I under-utilize the FB selling groups for sure. I just get annoyed because there's typically too many posts, and lots of off-topic stuff, so I ignore them. I'll look into it, though!
