    We got a new cat this week.

    About a month ago an orange tiger stripe started showing up in our back yard. <1 year old.

    Then about 2 weeks ago it just started never leaving our yard so we searched around for an owner with no luck.

    It was super sweet but it got into something and lost a big patch of hair on his back and his eye started gooping up.

    We called around to the no kill shelters but they were all full so we were gonna bring him to the pound one morning since there really wasn't another option. We already have two cats. Luckily for him he was gone that morning and we went out of town that day. When we came back we just didn't have the heart to give him up. Plus the temps have been reaching above 100F here.

    So we took him to the Vet and got a good $500 worth of work done on him, including getting him neutered, shots, and blood work. So now he lives on our porch til his flea problem is cleared up and his ball area healed.

    So... We are in the market for a good orange kitty name if anyone wants to give suggestions. I wanted to name him Darkstar after Bowie but my S.O. thought that was too cryptic.

    properly sealed, a growler will last maaybe two weeks. but once opened, about 24-36 hours. i do beer trades with a few people in different states and can attest that a good growler will last shipment.

    i don't know if this has already been answered, i'm slow catching up with the thread and i saw beer and
