Gatta love taking a nap, and then the alarm not going off, and then turning your PC on to find an update made your OS all gammy, and you have to force boot the drive.

 

I don't understand the wait times thing. Don't you just call a doctor and make an appointment? it can take a long time to get an appointment with a specialist in the US. Waiting lists for an organ are just as long as anywhere else too.

I mean if you really want full control of your device you should just go full linux.

Personally I have W10 locked down so it won't reboot without me doing it manually.

 

I have been totally off Windows since I bought my first Mac in 2009 and I got a W10 box for my Turking business. I need to figure out how to lock it down

 

Same with me. I can call my GP tommorrow and see him Monday or Tuesday. Same with dentist and eye doctors. Now with a specialist about a month the first time,but once you are in their system they see you quicker.

 

I shut it down when I sleep. It had an update, and then my C drive decided that it had no OS. I also have an Ubuntu shitty laptop.

In most places, you can get a non-urgent appointment with your family doctor within a few days. If it's more urgent, but not serious, you can go to a walk-in clinic and be seen immediately. If it's urgent and serious, you go to the emergency room.

Certain procedures have longer waitlists than others, which is where you hear the most complaints. But the fact that no Canadian ever has to decide if they can afford not to die is priceless, and why only the super rich would prefer the US system.
