09/06 - Waning Wednesday!

At which time it was appropriate to stumble to Clover Grill and have a burger to Pasty Cline on the Jukebox.

I also liked going bang at the Dungeon, but one of my fave places was the 5 minutes that Mythique was above whatever was at 1175 Decatur at the time. I liked the Phoenix, but then it got to vanilla.

 

It was a lot of fun there. I was friends with most of the other DJ's and all I did was party the entire time I was there. I hated to leave but I didnt want to be a 40 year old man djing to a bunch of kids like all these geezers out here now

 

And boy do I miss clover grille and verti mart!

 

Which is why I never go out when I'm home any more! I want to sooooo bad. I'm still on some notification lists (Attrition, specifically) and when they have events, especially like goth prom, I soooooo wanna go. Then I have my Die Hard moment: "I'm too old for this shit." (I'm 45)

 

I'm 51 and I still have a studio and collect and play guitars but the only time I go to a club is if a promoter or old friend in the biz invites me to a vip deal. I don't like to be in the regular crowd. I'm spoiled. It's nice to know someone is around that knows the scene. All this talk of food made me hungry. I'm going to go stir something up. $230? Something like that. I have gotten over $200 a few times now. I do know that I haven't gotten to $300 in a single day yet though.

 

Just got lucky with a nice batch drop or something?

 

I had a ~$200 day that was $100 in batches and $100 in surveys.

I just am around all day so if shit actually drops I can do it. This doesn't mean that I'm working all day however. I didn't break $20 until ~1PM or so because I slept in and honestly didn't feel like doing surveys at all.
