Well I guess that it was possible but I would assume that in most places gas is cheaper.

Booo, I'm sorry. Gas is way cheaper here than electric.

 

Philly gas is around 15.8 per whatever the hell they measure in, and electric is down to around 6.7 if you got the right provider.

We have Georgia power or, Georgia power! Since our gas is from a tank and not from a line that connects to town or whatnot, we have our choice of who to get it from, so it's easier to negotiate a good price. At the last house, we just had the town's gas provider since it was a line.

Those are different units. 1 kWh is equal to 3412 Btus. It looks like your units are in dekatherms, where 1 Dth is equal to about 1 million Btus. Once you convert them, gas is cheaper.
