Sorry you weren't able to get the qual yesterday. I was shocked when the qual HITs came up. It's the one qual that I had heard a lot about and wanted in the 8 months I've been turking.

 

I was up when they dropped... but I got 0 capped and after that I gave up on the day. >.>

I already got fucked once by the requester last year from the broken batch and now this is just insulting.

 

Man you are telling me that the quals came up on the sergeys.. GRRRRRRRR THE DAY I decide to catch up on life. LOL

 

Yeah, I read that yesterday. It sucks.

 

Because fuck us for being on top of our shit and catching the first drop of your qual that was broken a year ago... right? >.> CT is in the same boat

Do a lot of quick, easy HITs. It depends on what you like to do. If you don't mind typing or transcribing, there are lots of those regularly available. Avoid doing p9r, they change special instructions a lot and don't really pay you enough to warrant spending the extra time to look out for those instructions.

I personally did a lot of Itemizecorp, their penny HITs were regularly released throughout the day. They could be done in about 5 seconds for me, maybe 10 if I had to zoom in. If I wasn't ever 100% sure that I had the grand total, I returned the HIT.

Bunny Inc. has some quick quals (they aren't instant approve but they approve pretty quickly after taking the test) and their HITs come out regularly throughout the day.

Ben Peterson has an easy photo-rating HIT for business, social, and dating websites. They will reject though, so read the special instructions and understand them. They don't change on a whim like p9r. And they drop regularly throughout the day.

And of course, watch here for regular easy batches, like the A9 rekogs or customer interests. Those batches were really nice for a huge quick jump in your submitted/approvals.

Yeah, to a point. It should be what you'd think would be the best match for something that someone who found the original image. It doesn't have to be a perfect match, just the better of the two selections.
