These are actually pretty solid filler for me when they're off-platform and they're offering extra incentive bonuses to get the queue finished urgently.

Curious question, is HF (beta) objectively better to you guys than HF (MTS) ? Does the MTS one miss some hits?

 

How bad is it to let HIT expire? Does it affect getting blocked?

I was catching a bunch of decent paying surveys a few hours ago... now, relatively nothing new.

 

I've heard way too many horror stories to ever work for them even off plat.

 

Usually just Lost Wages, but some Google requestors will lock you out of their HITs for the duration of the HIT that you let expire. If it has a 5 minute timer, you are blocked for 5 minutes. If it's a 10 hour timer, you are blocked for 10 hours. So be careful with the Google HITs (Sergey, Will/Brian Z, Zoltar, etc).

 

I got to Level 3 with them and I'm sure I could get higher if I tried.

But at that point, it'd feel like I was working a slightly underpaid regular job in their employ, so I'd have to question what the point would be.

I totally believe that you'd qualify any work that requires moving your hand over the mouse or fingers over the keyboard as a "horror story".

 

I never really noticed much of a difference in how it searches for hits, the beta has some features that I use that arent available on the MTS version..so thats why I use it.

 

Matter of preference. People do well using both. Don't think either misses anything, though it will depend on the settings you have. But most agree that Hitfinder (Beta) in MTS is a bit buggy, so if you use MTS, stick with regular HitFinder if you experience problems using Beta.

I dunno I guess I feel pretty highly of myself.

 

The main issue is that both versions of hit finder in MTS have horrible memory leaks. The userscript is from before those memory leaks existed so it works great lol

 

The solution is to use Chrome so that you have no memory left to leak.
