I married what I thought was the most harmless dude on the planet, turned out he liked to get punchy with faces and such.

Nothing says I DUN GOOFED like having your arm and face xrayed in a hospital because you said something "irritating."

Talk about a case of real shitty judgement!

I think we all make epic mistakes at one point or another, nothing much we can but try not to make the same one twice (or 100 times.)

 

You'll get through it. As has already been said, do what's right for you and feel free to ask for help/support here. It sucks and sometimes takes a while before it's over but you'll probably find you're better off in the long run.

 

I had him on the harness for the move, and apart from his meltdown at the very tail end, it was WAY EASIER. I had the harness on him a bunch before we left and he was horrified by it, but once he realized he got to ride shotgun, rather than in the kennel, he got used to it. He figured out how to pee in the grass at gas stations pretty easily too, which was also helpful. Some days he seems like he wants to go outside for a bit, and I'd honestly rather let him wander around on a harness than risk him bolting and getting lost again.

So, now I'm that lady.



He really seems to enjoy it, so I'm cool with it.

 

I have been asleep/fucking tranquilized for the last 8 hours, Yes you can get tattoos covered up with new tattoos as long as it isn't too large and easy to blend into something new. The laser isn't to bad it's annoying as fuck but not terrible but yes it hurts.

I dated that person in my early 20s for almost 4 years. Part time work at a coffee shop, while I slave away on my work-study for 60 hours a week that paid pretty good, but I had no help. She fucked her car up and couldn't afford a new one, so I bought hooptie for her until she could get something nice, but guess who ended up having to drive it. She was Navajo, so she got free school too and just refused to go. Wanted to wait it out for me to finish school, get a job, buy her house, so she could pop out some kids and lock it down long term. I eventually just left all my stuff and moved away.

 

I wasn't going to say it but I was actually hit over the weekend. I'm really embarrassed about it. I'm glad someone else can relate. I dun goofed too.

Yeah that is basically what I figured that it was like.

On a side note if the meds are making you into too much of a zombie you might have to hit the doc up and they can adjust the dosage / try a different drug ect.

 

don't matter if you joined on day one or yesterday to TH... we care just the same, as we all have had to go down hard roads of various degrees, and can feel and understand someones pain even tho we don't know them in person.

 

Divorce gets people really heated and acting irrational. Add in lawyers that want to cash in, so they push your buttons and it's just a bad situation all around. Luckily we don't have kids and are decent friends now that the papers are signed and all that. Once we got all the legal stuff over with, we chilled out (even slept together couple times) laugh about it. Wish I could get some of that broken stuff back though.

You don't ever have to feel embarassed, some people just SUCK and they do shitty things.

You have nothing to be embarrassed about. He made the choice to do that aND he is the one that shold be ashamed. Now you have choices to make on what's right for you.

My problem was, once I filed for a fault divorce (and rightly so) and he got arrested cause, our apartment was LITERALLY covered in blood and I looked like I went 10 rounds with Tyson, he just went nuclear to try and save his own ass.

He thought calling me a hooker, then an escort, then a madam was gonna cover for his batcrap insanity, violence, alcoholism, and it turned out CHEATING. I literally married a virgin (up until we started dating anywho), who cheated on me to find out what fucking other women was like.

Court did not go well for him, my lawyer tore him a new one and he got so mad he called me a stupid Grinch in front of a judge, who told him to shut up and sit down.

It was one of the more white trash experiences in my life, and I hope to never get into that type of situation again.

What's funny was, throughout the course of the 2 year court nightmare, he gained about 50 more pounds and lost all his hair while I lost 10 pounds and decided to become the fiery redhead I always wanted to be, cause yeah, my ex said he would leave me if I ever got a tattoo, dyed my hair red, or got a nose ring.

So, you can guess how I looked by the time I had to sign the papers. My lawyer said it was the funniest visual representation of one person's life getting together while the other person's life went to shit he had seen in a long and very ugly divorce case.

I'm glad you and the ex are on decent terms!
