@Randomacts , Here's a screenshot of the jsPerf results I shared in the freeCodeCamp Facebook group, to demonstrate how much slower the ES6 forEach method currently is compared to a regular "for" loop.



TL;DR: The regular "for" loop had a little more than double the ops/sec.

But like a doctor that smokes cigarettes, sometimes I find myself using it anyway, out of convenience or readability.

Their downfall was not adapting to emerging technologies. They walled themselves in with proprietary software and didn't play nicely with all the developers. It's the same thing that will eventually happen with Apple if they don't get with the times. They keep launching new features and acting like it's some kind of innovation when its been available on other devices for years, i.e. Apple Pay. They need to get up to speed and stop blocking their own users from doing whatever they want with the phone.
