Wait... I just saw that another requester with a similar asian name had a hit with the same survey name that I did yesterday. So I understand they do not want my response twice. But still damn thats bs. Ok so since I am blocked how do I message them?

It's ok, I got blocked from some rando requester a while back for no reason. You won't get tossed from Mturk. They can see if the requesters inappropriately use blocks.

 

They actually tell requesters to use blocks in their own documentation

 

Just be honest. Ask why you were blocked and that blocks hurt workers, etc. Honest emails from the heart do better than a template. You'll be fine, one block isn't going to close your account.

 

Does anyone have contact information for Amazon Payments for a transaction that had a technical issue?

edit: They had some kind of system issue on Sunday.

Has anyone had something like this happen before? Will it automatically get fixed if it stays in pending status too many days?

 

Not sure, but someone mentioned yesterday that they called Amazon Payments and they had to push the payment manually through due to a bug or something. Worth a shot, not sure if it will resolve itself.

 

Morning btw. I'm kind of grumpy this morning because there were police lights flashing all night long at my neighbors and moral of the story, I need blackout curtains.

That contact link @LLL posted has email and phone (phone will be much quicker, they're sometimes slow on email). For future reference, scroll to the bottom of Amazon Payments where it says "contact us" and you'll be taken there

How worried about this should I be? Because obviously I am now blocked by BOTH names even though I only did one of their hits. And this hit was not rejected so there really is no reason for this.
