I dunno, it worked well for me, but, like I said before, this isn't what I started with (I started with Colt Steele's Web Dev bootcamp and just used fCC for practice).

It's a required disclaimer for anyone who intends to use or sign up for Associates.

Has nothing to do with mTurk.

If you buy something on Amazon within 24 hours of clicking an an Amazon product link, using the same browser you used to click the link, the associate gets a % commission from your cart.

It's a pretty good passive way for sites to earn revenue and pay the server bills without asking members to open their wallets IMO.

And like CT said, the TV integration into MTS is going to require a ridiculously expensive server plan.

The alternative would be to either cough up significantly more in direct donations, or allow the new tools to effectively DDOS the site and render it unresponsive.

I leave for a few hours and everyone starts talking stuff that's specifically related to me lol.

 

lol yeah that is why I mentioned you. I use smile pretty heavily because I would rather the money go to a charity of my choice than some rando of the last affiliate link that I clicked.
