Or he could go balls-to-the-wall in the other direction and earn so much money online that losing benefits doesn't matter so much.

This is what I was getting at before -- benefits programs force you to be either totally broke or ridiculously rich. You can't just gradually increase your income, or you get slapped.

 

Ya know, I always wonder how many lurkers see my terrible PEs and wonder how I hit my weekly goal.

Step 1: Be really freaking lazy 90% of the time
Step 2: Remember you try to hit at least 40 bucks and flail because you're at like PE: You've done nothing but csats, you lazy Grinch
Step 3: Work for like 70 minutes tops, and then say, "meh, good enough."
Step 4: Accidentally return things from your queue that you meant to work on at least 3 times a week, if not more
Step 5: Goal?

that's more or less what i did. i was at turd levels all day, except the Mturk gods dropped a 12k geo batch, predicted by yours truly, and i made 36 on that alone

even at @0.20 kw/h, it's negligible.

 

Not really, like 3cent per KwH but could turn off some of the 7 comps which would save a bit, plus saving in cooling costs from the extra heat

 

I pay around 0.12kw/h
