"Pyramid schemes work on the premise that you're not the only person in the world who is as stupid as you are."

No matter how dumb a product is (i.e., Scentsy candles, Mary Kay makeup, Cutco knives, etc.), there are equally dumb people out there to buy it.

People wanting to buy things is the only thing that gives anything value.

It's like diamonds. There's nothing special about diamonds. They can be lab-synthesized fairly cheaply these days. But they hold value because people believe they hold value. And that gives them value although they're basically inherently worthless.

 

I added you somehow on the lists so I can get ideas for when I make my new PC.

Such a shame.. its not like fantastic money but I think I made $2 from someone spamming a 55 gal drum of lube on the site so it would have been nice to have as extra padding every month

Yeah you could've "passed around the monthly lube jar" and it would've been like speaking in code.

 

Don't think so, I legit think whoever looked at my account last time was just dumb lol. Or maybe I did and they just picked the wrong rejection reason

It's just like mTurk: They set up the rules so that almost everyone is in violation, so that they can just pick and choose who to kick whenever they like.

That way they can assess you from an intuitive angle of "is this person's activity helping our company more than it's costing us?", and then just promptly kick you under the guise of one of many reasons if the answer they come to is "no".

 

my attention is pretty split, but, if youre an affiliate, post that shit. lol. i buy everything (sorry @Asylus) as long as it's good stuff.

 

I swear this social judgments hit is never going to end
