11/23 - What A Wonderful Wednesday!

This is where I'm at with it, really. I'll catch what I can, twiddle my fingers at the rest.

Yeah, I'm leaving it alone. Barely any time between when you would watch and when it expires. Maybe if it's still around late tonight or tomorrow. It'd be a lot better if it was like a 4-5 day timer.

 

It's hard to turk without thinking about how good my turkey is gonna be.

 

What are your guys' favorite recipes? We're not making one 'til next week for a late Friendsgiving so I wanna be prepared.

Our Friendsgiving used to just be Beersgiving.

We actually have food at these things now, so that shows some sort of developmental progress.

 

They gave both a completion code and password in the first one. The completion code is more like your unique ID and the password is just a password to access the survey. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, otherwise I'd PM it to ya.

I'm making enough courses to make everyone gain 15+ pounds the day of so I'm only doing giant viking sized turkey legs to keep turkey involved but using pavochon seasoning/marinade with a little beer thrown in for 2 days, then wrapping in black forest bacon, and smoking with hickory and coal for a few hours.

I've been cooking since yesterday and I'm pretty sure I have a BRBC (Blood Red Bull Content).

 

Holy smokes. Found my new weight-gaining plan.

 

Anything from Alton Brown is unbeatable. Anytime I'm looking for a new recipe for a dish, I search dish+Alton Brown first.

 

If I answer this now, I'll never get back to turking as it would put me in full on Thanksgiving mode.
I'll respond later with my stuffing recipe. Say around 4:20ish or so...

Oh yeah! I read something about that. Thanks for reminding me. Won't be the same but better than nothing. Netflix has a couple of episodes so I can ease the pain a bit.

 

Heard this as well! He comes to Wichita (where I am) every now and then. The last time he was here unexpectedly, he visited a few coffee shops he loves and one of my friends was at one of them at the time. We asked her if she saw him, and she told us she had no clue who he was while he was in there and it wasn't until she saw on Twitter that he was here that she realized who it was.
