To be clear, I'm talking about fresh non-farmed Salmon.

If it's either farmed or not fresh, it's a failure as a fish, and only serves to give fish a bad name.

 

Hello from one Green to another!

 

I was born and raised on an island in the swamp, literally. Surrounded by fresh water, just north of brackish water, just north of the Gulf (about 30 minutes by boat). No such thing as salmon anywhere. And tuna just too much trouble compared to everything else awesomely and easily available.

 

Have you been to every place that sells salmon on the east coast? Because, correct me if I'm wrong, but you live on the west coast. There's plenty of salmon available and it's certainly not all Atlantic. That's a bad assumption.

 

I've been on the chaise with a heating pad half the day. Hormones can go fuck themselves.
