I learned that gem in the Navy, extensively.

I've gotten into this before. Of course what I'm doing would be techinically frowned upon and if I straight up asked I would get told no. I'm not a saint. I'm doing this shit in my downtime because I want more money, and I'm cutting corners and skirting the line.

But I'm an A+ employee and get great reviews and my shit done, just instead of browsing facebook and other stuff I turk.

I'm not saying do what I do, but I don't care for your hoighty toighty views on what I do, and I didn't ask for it. (this last line is not for you personally harry, just in general)

Work PC is connected to Home PC watching videos

Does work PC use the same bandwidth as Home PC downloading the video? It is watching it I guess.. but not sure on quality/tech specs

I'm having panic attacks while studying at work. I learned something new and wanted to share with everyone. Guess I should have been more clear before blurting out to everyone.

Yeah, just want to make sure that people don't think this is some way to not get in trouble if caught. "I didn't do anything on company property" kind of argument. Because I've heard that one before lol.

Chances are your IT dept. is too busy to worry about what you're doing plus they have all the stuff they really care about blocked anyway. But FYI to others, just be careful doing this, particularly the whole opening your home network up to a remote connection, you can wind up with Chinese/Russians all up in yo shizz

Personally I just do it all on my local because I'm the judge, jury and executioner Well not really, but I'd be the one they'd ask to find logs anyway lol.

"Secret Santa" sure looks an awful lot like "Secret Satan" when you're skimming text.

 

Oh of course, this won't work for everyone and if my IT sitz was more crazy I would definitely not do anything like this. But literally if I got an email saying knock it off from the IT peeps I totally would... thankfully the only thing they have blocked is whatever the pin stuff is on and some survey websites, so I just remote in and do it from there.

Don't worry guys, once they catch me and I get fired I'll just turk full time
