Some dipshit Matt works with was being a total d-nugget towards me in a bar on Friday, and after calling him out on calling me weird pet names without knowing me, and assorted ass like behaviors that pissed of Matt repeatedly...I offered to bury the hatchet (not in his head this time) and joked that I'm normally very nice. He responded by saying, "Yeah, I'm sure you're real nice to everyone." IN AIR QUOTES. He then had some meltdown about how he "knows what type of games girls like me play."

So, yeah, I'm not nice to that dude at all anymore and shockingly, he went home alone that night and doesn't get invited out to most of the outings. He wasn't even invited to that one, he just showed up lol. I did point out he dresses like a deep sea fisherman though, and refer to him as The Deadliest Catch, so now he has that nickname and it seems to be sticking.

 

As the kids say, this shit is lit.

He has a self-admittedly unique sense of humor/posting style. It trended toward pissing off most folks he interacted with here, to the point it was detracting from my day due to the # of complaints.

At some point you either have to recognize that pissing off a large portion of people around you not only screws up their day, but everyone else they go complaining to, and knock it off. Or not. He chose not.

Yeah I was gonna ignore that part out of kindness lol. Really that could have been a result of the "I'm so fucking tired of dealing with this I'm just going to ban him out of frustration" blindsided nature of the ban than anything endemic to his nature so doesn't feel right to prop up as an excuse for anything.
