Our magazines go missing all the time. Mail with a completely different address than mine is constantly in my mailbox. Also, the USPS delivers my mail at 7PM? I thought they stopped delivering at 6PM, no?

I even checked in the laundry room we have attached to our place to make sure it wasn't there. The thing is, I was here when she "missed me," so I know she did not come to my house at all that day.

I'm pretty sure it's at the post office and there is just some fuckery going on. I just can't pick up the package without a valid number, so I'm trapped in some strange bs hell right now.

I'm still 10 shades or horrified that Matt's paycheck got delivered to the neighbors and was an obvious check. His normal paychecks are DD, but when he gets OT from a business trip or whatever, they just cut a check and send it to the house.

Maybe we live in some SoCal alternate dimension and the post office just can't find us?

 

Man, I'm so glad a couple people actually understand the bonkers weirdness that is Kern County. Because, I cannot make that reference with anyone I know from home.
