Ah that makes sense. I figured that it must be something like that or homeschooling if you haven't heard about it.

That is because the holiday isn't for you it is for people to remember you and remembering is a task that requires the day off of school.

 

Want me to come rescue you? We can get drinks and dank vegan food.

 

I really don't think it's that bad.

A decent Turker w/o scripts could still make a $7-8/hr. pace on these.

I think that the recent reviews are just angry backlash from when the HITs used to be ridiculously high-paying at $0.10 for a single search, kinda like how everyone review-bombed Sergey/John/Google when he dropped pay from $0.10 to $0.03 for that content filtering HIT.

They used to be insanely overpaid, but now they're just decent filler for some of us on slow days.

Whatever.

At least they're not gone.

That's why a decent turker who's looking at reviews will take that number as an average? like hey this says 4.82 an hour, but I could probably bump that up a bit if I'm fast. It's just there to help, not to be 10000% accurate in all cases, for every person.

I dont think guys like you should be allowed to use scripts. I mean its not fair to the 99% of us that cant understand the code that you get an unfair advantage. They should distribute pay evenly among all turkers. So say you and ra make a combined 2000 in a week and 98 other folks make 100 we would evenly distribute 118 dollars to everyone. Enough with this coders make more bs.
