I've never thought that and still don't. I don't see swimming pools and solar panels and some others as being useful for that. Some of the others? Yeah, possible. But I've never though all of it was.

I wish we had 2005's more literal Google search algorithm, so that people looking for "jsquery" resources couldn't find anything and decided to just learn vanilla Javascript instead lol.

I switch sides depending on the context.

If you want to be a professional web developer: learn vanilla JS.
If you want to maximize your earnings on mTurk: learn whatever the fk is easiest/quickest for you because neither can impact your earnings unless you're deficient in other, far more important, areas.

 

That, and seeing "C+" without the other "+" just looked funny and made me make a face that made my GF ask me what was wrong lol.
