LOL. YES. Judging from my discussion with my classmates a lot of them will be writing their final paper like the day before its due. My rough draft is due in Tuesday and I went ahead and just wrote the whole damn thing because why not. People love to procrastinate though. You'll have takers I bet.

Yeah my experience is that when I put 'proofreading' the kids think 'writing'. I don't know if my last translator was having me on or what... from what I've heard my experience is not unique.

 

i always procrastinate. But I do try to work on my homework or papers as early as possible. My problem is that when it comes to academic writing, it just takes me FOREVER to get something written because I literally have to sit and think for the longest while possible until something comes to me.

My best advice with that is to just start writing, by hand if you can.

Rough drafts are always crap, and physically writing helps jog your thought process.

Whenever I'm hitting a wall at work, I just retreat to a comfy chair with my legal pad and start writing absolute junk that gets me started.

Yeah I just make myself to write it all at once if I can. This was just a 10 page paper so I did 2 yesterday and finished the rest today. Now I have the rest of the semester to polish it <3

 

have to take some regular math classes that's so highschool like alegebra and stuff....I tend to forget and I'm like "why is this so hard, it's just highschool math" but highschool was so long ago. T-T so yeah, i tend to forget stuff that's 5 years old old from highschool .not to mention the professors shows us a million different ways of solving problems with new formulas and stuff. not to mention word problems are my enemy

when im in class, i do write by hand- notes and everything.
when i took my psych class, i believed i wrote my notes and my essays by hand first and then types it up on my computer

 

When I had to write papers, I would always make detailed outlines with like, the quotes I would use or points I would make, whatever.

Man, it made writing the actual paper so much easier, cause I already had the thought process and relevant points down.

 

No advice here or one-up... mine is all notes by hand, all writing by keyboard. I learn by hand, sperg by key
