This is my first semester going back to college, and if I learned one thing its this:

I don't even pay attention to the instructors at all

I'm going to take a online course next time

 

dunno though I just do quals that I see pop up.

 

My experience on mTurk so far suggests that building a time machine would be your best bet.
A lot of the best quals just post whenever they post and then there's nothing you can do about it when you miss them.

Then there's people like me who find the opportunity to take qual tests for VRAPI and decide "lol this HIT looks stupid, I'm gonna return this crap."

 

Yeah I started school back up and a lot of professors get by just repeating the textbook. So if I just read the textbook and review it weekly, I'm doing better than if I pay attention.

Now this likely won't be the case for every single class, but every one this semester certainly is.

 

Just check the things that pop on HF or OW or whatever. I make sure to check for things I'm not qualified for, sorting by 'most available' every so often. (All my stuff is normally looking for 'most recent'). Obviously, always keep an eye out for qual hits.

Requesting random quals isn't super productive. When I used my qual-crawler to programmatically request all the requestable quals, I didn't really pick up too many, and I didn't notice any change in my income.
I think @Randomacts response to requesting random quals is usually some animated gif with a black hole or something.

 

I don't know if I had this problem in highschool (I was a verrrrry bad student in highschool) but literally even when I try to pay attention to the intructor my brain literally goes



so I go there and post here, and teach myself later. I'm just going to cut out the middle man and do it online from here on out I guess

 

Am I allowed to do more than one sticks HIT?

 

I just want to know the story behind how this GIF was originally created.

I requested all of the ones that had "autogranted" in the name (like PFA, but for anything ever lol)
Took some qual tests from Reqs that looked like they might be interesting
Did everything I could from any of the Amazon requesters (..I wanted Masters)

It has netted me exactly $0.00 in earnings.

Don't waste your time. Do quals as they pop up, otherwise assume you missed the boat on anything pre-existing as far as the mTurk qual database pages go. E-mail the Requester if you think you can sweet alk your way into it, but anything regarding scanning quals is absolutely a waste of time IME lol.

 

It is also a waste of PREs
