11/14 - The A-Team Tuesday!

I am so sorry that life has been so hard. My own DH had cancer (remission) and I do remember that terrible feeling. I would sit in the driveway in my car, looking at these purple flowers and just say Please. I would sit at stoplights and just say Please. It is in those moments that Please is all I had in me. I will say Please for you to. (Hugs) and I really am sorry that your family is going through this.

 

I lifted weights, skipped the second half of school every day, drank stolen energy drinks nearly 24/7, and got in fistfights instead.

I guess if you combine all of those, their power combined can replace "play sports".

 

@Totally Not , I have absolutely nothing against you. I admire all that you do for your little girl and commend you for being a good/loving and INVOLVED father.

But much like me you talk to damn much and I just can't scroll that much in a single day. Bought these to try and still couldn't.




I kind of recommend people put me on their ignore list as I don't offer very much and get defensive very easily lately. I sincerly hope I haven't offended you at any point and wish you all the best!

 

My pins won't submit

 

The night before, when I go to bed about 12 or 1. I'm up every morning about 10 til 6. Sometimes I have to log back in, sometimes not. Each morning when I get up I refresh the page and make sure they are all turned back on, or at least reset the timers if PREs have tweaked them. The only things I run this time of day are ML and Joe and the occasional Dermott when I see it post.

 

Same.

Wouldn't load on www. Switched to worker, and now it won't submit.

 

That's weird. Mine went through on www with no problem.

 

I couldnt get one to submit, I tried redoing it and then it did submit. Maybe traffic was heavy for a few.

 

Refreshed the page, redid the HIT, and it submitted.

 

The word "offended" is only in my vocabulary because I need it for describing other people, otherwise I wouldn't even bother using it. I don't really get offended by anything. It's honestly difficult for me to even understand the concept.

As far as being irritated or whatever, the only person her that's irritated me lately was @ChrisTurk when he locked my avatar panel, but that's fixed now so I'm good.

Hope you're doing well. I just thought it was a humorous awkward moment.
I don't think it really impacted anyone in a negative way. Just gave everyone a chuckle.

 

Thank you. I don't really have much family, my daughter lives hours away and has her own life. My mother has the beginnings of dementia and doesn't even know who I am some days. It's just me and him. And soon just me. Between the 2 of us we have lost 9 family members to cancer and frankly I just don't know if I have anything left. I come to find some positivity but apparently i'm the negative influence. I feel like a total failure just typing this out but I don't have anyone else to talk to. I'm sorry!

You're not a failure and you're not a negative influence. Sometimes we all need a break, especially you after reading your story. Seriously, you're a strong person and I barely know you. It sounds like you've gone through so much already and continually power through it. How you have stayed together for so long is admirable. Furthermore, your dedication and hard work turking to pay the bills really shows.
Nobody anything says can fix anything. All I can do is give you a giant virtual hug. Easier said than done, but try not to let others bring you down, intentionally or not. While we're only your co-turkers, we do support each other and at the very least, can be people you vent to.
