I commented about mturk in a different subreddit and someone tried to tell me "This is the biggest wast of time. You don’t make much and the work is mind numbing." when I recommended it as a way to get some additional monthly income

i'm about as lazy as it gets when it comes to mturk. i've legit just sat around and clicked a few buttons for a, maybe, cumulative 30 minutes, and i'm up to Today's Projected Earnings: $18.50.

I think the /r/mturk method is exactly why I get confused why everyone gives noobs the same set of requesters / methods. I think most people think it is dying when their 5 total requesters don't show up for the day. A surprising amount of people ONLY do C-SATS or other popular requesters for their daily total.
