Since I live on the border, I find quite a few deals of stuff that "fell off the back of a truck". Lots of gas station buys where I have to walk inside to get cash out the ATM. Stereo equipment is built right across the border at some of the maquiladoras, so there's a rich black market for the stuff. I have to just give the shit away.

I have inherited some decent items from rich old pilots that just don't want it/care anymore though. I got 2 sets of harmon kardon desk speakers that are super uggo but the sound quality is fairly good and I got them for that sweet low low price of free AF.

 

I'm trying to find a comfy recliner chair (ideally with an ottoman or enough space to kick my legs out) for myself that isn't a hellacious eye sore, isn't 1k, isn't leather, and is preferably on sale for black friday or whatever.

This is more annoying than I'd like it to be.

I'm 4'9" no less, so it's not like I have to worry about enough leg room.

 

That list of requirements reminds me of:

I mean, I've found a good bit I like but nothing that makes me go YASSSS. Leather is just a hot disaster with cats cause even when they don't try and scratch it, they inevitably do. We didn't move the loveseat with us so we only have the chaise and my computer chair is decently comfy, but I want a recliner I can watch tv with and feel comfy or put it behind my desk when I'm just playing vidya games or watching netflix or whatever.

I hate it when I want something this specific, ugh.

 

I wouldn't stress out too much. There were a number of foreign language CIs up and they all had a similar disclaimer in the title, but there aren't amazon fluency quals for all the languages that were up.

More padding is the main thing. masters is essentially random, not really a number of approved tied to it as a way to receive it.

 

I have this chair from IKEA with its matching ottoman and love it. It's not a recliner, but it has a natural recline in it, and tons of room to curl up. Parker (the cat) hasn't killed it yet and she does claw it from time to time. I'll probably take a sweater shaver to it or something before family comes for Christmas. I bought it a little over a year ago, and I still love it. I don't even move to hubby's recliner when he gets up.
