CyberPower is notorious for shoddy brute-force assembly and shady practices (i.e., using used parts in a brand new machine).

My first order with them had an "engineering sample" i7 CPU (and bent pins), and after the return, the second computer I got from them had faulty RAM. My brother got a desktop computer from them like a year afterwards, not learning the lesson from my issues, and ended up with a computer whose USB ports fried after a couple of months.

Upgrade your computer for sure but plz save yourself the CyberPower headache. Assembling one yourself is super-easy these days and is the best way to make sure that it's put together by someone who cares whether your computer continues to work past the warranty period.

 

I appreciate your opinion, but I picked this one out with someone I very much trust, who knows about computers much more than I do.
