I don't see anything wrong with it.

For example, I acknowledge that Dvorak is a typing layout with higher potential for maximum speed, all while remaining with QWERTY simply because I want to take advantage of the momentum I've built up with it.

I'm invested into Chrome because it has my bookmarks, a few extensions I'm accustomed to, and because of sync between my computers and my phone. But if I hadn't invested my time into these, I could see myself using the modern Firefox.
