I can still hang and I'm almost 34. Probably better at it now than when I was late 20s. Blackouts kick in a little sooner, but I'm down to drink all weekend and pound shit beer if I have too.

Y'all just getting old because you did dumb stuff like "having a family" or "focusing on your career". Pfft...

My brother is 46 and he still parties like he's in his 20s. I think it's genetic.

YES! My tastes changed, too. I couldn't do spicy foods before either, and now I "get" it (though my tolerance is still relatively low). I have the exact same coffee and chocolate story. Hangovers started coming at me with a fucking vengeance sometime around then, too. I'd had them before; but never for two full days after only a few beers. I mean, that's not even fair.

I've only ever broken one bone in my life, but it was my foot and at age 27. Needless to say I will limp for the rest of my life and use a cane sometimes when it rains.

 

Yep. 26-27 is when dairy decided to give me crippling migraines and preteen-style acne. FUN.

 

My dad is in his 50's and still goes to raves.

Of course, he was going to raves instead of, ya know, parenting teenage bird.

 

I'm 30.. Have 0 of the aforementioned symptoms of it.. I work what, probably 60+hrs/week minimum? Can eat shitty food when I want (granted it is rarely) I have no clue what acid reflux feels like. Hangovers are rare though so is my drinking habit, I get a cold maybe 2x/yr & push through same as ever.

I know death will come for me one day, but 30 is not that day.

The key is you never quit. Quitters never get good at anything. Including liver failure. You're not a quitter!

I'm on the ugly side of 40 and still party like I'm 18, it doesn't make for a pleasant next day.
